Outstanding cane at a very good price!

I purchased several different varieties of oboe tube cane in the 10.5 - 11 range and have had the best results with the MARCA cane. It yields a very high percentage of usable pieces, all of which gouge smoothly with absolutely no fuss. The MARCA cane produced a beautifully balanced German-scrape reed using a RnS profiler and the resulting tone is just gorgeous - right up there with the best reeds I've ever scraped by hand. The MARCA cane was also incomparably better than the now ubiquitous Rigotti, which I've frequently used in the past.
With these splendid results, I'll definitely be ordering much more in the near future. And Capitol Cane did an outstanding job of correctly sorting the cane by diameter. Great work there, Capitol Cane!
