Nice concept, but didn't work for me

Ordered 2 trial packs both with Alliaud, Rigotti, and Lavoro. In my first pack, the Lavoro cane kept cracking -held up to light before gouging and could see cracks and splits, so 1 usable piece gouged. The Alliaud tube openings are too small for my Gilbert spliter with the growths at the openings. Unfortunately, those 2 brands of tubes were virtually useless for me. The Rigotti tubes seemed large for 10-10.5, so also of little use to me They were straight and did not crack prematurely. May give 2nd, unopened trial bag away.
