Consistently good cane for decades

As a professional bassoonist, my relationship with Rigotti gouged bassoon cane goes back forty years. Throughout the decades the cane has been consistently excellent. It's almost as if the cane wants to vibrate and be made into a reed! I use it with many different shapes and profiles and have always achieved good results. Throughout the years I have tried many different brands of cane and although they all have different qualities, none of them yield the consistently good results that I have achieved with Rigotti cane.
